Chair Speed Model

Renders

Decided that I needed to to get back into the groove of maya again after spending my break before my colleges starts up in blender so decided a speed model would get my brain kicked back into motion and decided it would be fun if both my friend and I made something basic but has good potential and stuck with this, I quite like the result and did better than I expected but took longer than the 1 hour I has set and probably spent around 2~ hours of actual work (not counting helping friend and having some other things needing to be done)

UDIMs

I decided to render the project in Marmoset toolbag which made me ask the question whether it was worth using multiple UDIMs or not but in the end decided to get the best looking textures I would put in the extra work setting up so I could finesse Marmoset into allowing it

Lots of overlapping textures

I have lately been putting more time into textureing and making sure to overlap many large and small layers to get the best and most realistic result possible
