For my final summative, I was tasked to make a visual effect with a group of people. We had 2 weeks to work on it and this is what we came up with, if I had more time I would have liked to have finished my portal but maybe I will just finish that for as a personal project. Hope you like it
These are the nodes that I used to make the mandlebulb, the majority of the work was done in the attribute wrangle but otherwise its a mostly simple process but gives you loads of control over all aspects
Using keyframes to control how the mandelbulb acts. Iteration effects the bumps on the surface, N effects how many clumps are coming out of the mandelbulb and how formed it is, lastly resolution is the resolution of the mandelbulb
