Here is a cool rock environment I made, I was watching a tutorial on render but thought it would look cool if I made it look like a rock crevice then decided to animate it and here is the product. It was a pretty simple project and the textures are fully procedural which gives me good control over the style and appearance.
The scene is very simple and has a basic particle sim to add cool fireflies which increases the depth to the scene
The shaders in the scene are basic and simple but help define the rocks and give everything shape and style
Blender
Adobe Premiere Pro
Cycles Render Engine for the main renders, but also workbench renderer for the non textured render (both are inbuilt and come free with blender)
